Saying "Thank You" - A Lost Art

I Corinthians 15:57

"But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Once we have something, it is the human condition to take it for granted that we've always had it.  And the only time we seem to remember that we have it, is when we lose it.  Saying thank you keeps the brain and heart in a frame of mind that remembers how blessed we are.

God reminds us over and over again how much He likes to be thanked for His goodness to us.  Remember, it's not about us!  It's about Him and His grace.

When we forget to say thank you to each other, we lose the signficance of dependence on one another and the importance of relationship that keeps our lives balanced and trusting in the Lord.  Say thank you today:  to your neighbor, to your family, to your boss, to your leaders.  They'll once again be reminded of the need we have for God and for each other.

Bible perspective:

Hebrew is a very simple language with simple structure and uncomplicated forms.  Koine Greek is the common language version of the classical greek of the New Testament day.  If you don't like the translations that are out today, then study the Hebrew and study the Koine and get a righteous committee going and put out your own version.  But there must be two requirements;  1) the new version is true to the context of the original language, and 2) it can be easily communicated to the average person in our society.
